On December 8, 2020, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, 2020 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion Conference with the theme of 'Embrace Win-win in Shenzhen, Pilot the Brand-new Expedition' was held in Wuzhou Hotel. Wang Weizhong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Guangdong Province Committee and Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Chen Rugui, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee and Mayor, Luo Wenzhi, Director of the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress, and Lin Jie, Chairman of Shenzhen Municipal People's Political Consultative Conference attended this event.
