Visit of Former Deputy Director of the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, Xia Nong, and Delegation to AMC

On September 14, 2023, Xia Nong, former Deputy Director of the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, accompanied by Li Ji Ping, former Director of the Service Industry Department of the Industry Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, visited Advanced Assembly Materials China Limited (AMC) for research discussions. They were accompanied by Yang Dong Xiang, member of the Party Working Committee of Fuhai Street, Bao'an District, and Li Xiao Yan, head of the Deep Hong Kong Advanced Manufacturing Cooperation Zone Office of Fuhai Street. Mr. Ho Shu Chuen, CEO of AAMI, and AMC's Assistant General Manager, Song Jun, along with other representatives, received the delegation.
Mr. Ho Shu Chuen extended a warm welcome to the visiting leaders, providing a detailed overview of the group's developmental journey, product market positioning, strategic deployment, and operational status of the research center and production base. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the government's support in the company's development.
During the meeting, leaders such as Xia Nong and Li Ji Ping acknowledged AMC's technological content in its products, industry position, and achievements. They appreciated AMC's role as a model in Bao'an District, Shenzhen, and its positive contributions to the Deep Hong Kong Advanced Manufacturing Cooperation Zone. Discussions revolved around the current trends in the semiconductor chip industry, strategies for high-quality corporate development and talent, as well as the challenges and opportunities encountered in business operations.
Yang Dong Xiang, member of the Party Working Committee of Fuhai Street, expressed the commitment to advance enterprise services in the Deep Hong Kong Advanced Manufacturing Cooperation Zone, ensuring support for talent introduction, international talent exchanges, and high-quality development. Li Xiaoyan, head of the Deep Hong Kong Advanced Manufacturing Cooperation Zone Office, highlighted the office's efforts to closely engage with enterprises, give high importance to solving development issues, intensify communication with enterprises, facilitate the flow of production elements between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and promote win-win cooperation among enterprises.
Mr. Ho Shu Chuen expressed deep appreciation to various government departments for their recognition and support of AAMI. He reiterated AAMI's commitment to continuous technological innovation, aiming to be Global number one lead frame supplier in terms of both financial and ESG performance.
