He urged the top 100 enterprises to cherish their honor, work harder, and continue to play a leading role in promoting the stable and high-quality development of foreign-invested enterprises in the province. He also called on them to make even greater contributions in areas such as stabilizing foreign investment, optimizing the structure of foreign trade, promoting employment, and increasing tax contributions. Zhang further explained that the evaluation process for the top 100 foreign-invested enterprises in the province was based on a comprehensive benchmarking of leading regions such as the Yangtze River Delta. The process included procedures such as enterprise application, recommendation from the competent authorities, expert review, and online publicity. The top 20 foreign-invested enterprises were selected in five categories, namely sales revenue, total import and export volume, foreign direct investment, tax contribution, and job creation. The evaluation received positive feedback from society and was widely recognized by the enterprises. Zhang also pointed out that the foreign-invested enterprises in the province, which account for only 0.2% of all types of enterprises in the province, have contributed about 25% of the province's total imports and exports and 7% of its tax revenue. The top 20 foreign-invested enterprises have made outstanding contributions, accounting for more than 90% of the total foreign investment of all foreign-invested enterprises in the province. Additionally, they contribute around 50% of the total sales revenue, tax revenue, and job creation of all foreign-invested enterprises in the province, and more than 20% of the total import and export volume.
As one of the top 20 foreign direct investment enterprises, AMA's ranking on the 2022 Anhui Province Top 100 Foreign Investment Enterprises list injects new vitality into Anhui's economic development.
