Chuzhou University Research Visit to AMA

On May 5, 2023, Bi Mingfu, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chuzhou University, Zheng Chaogui, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Chuzhou University, and members of the leadership team, the main principals of each department, and more than 100 people from the middle level and above of the school visited Advanced Semiconductor Materials (Anhui) Co., LTD. (known as AMA), accompanied by Liu Dong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Suchu High-Tech Industrial Park. AMA’s Assistant General Manager, Wu Tao, and AMA’s Manager of the Human Resources Department, Wang Zhangwei warmly hosted the visiting delegation.

Wu Tao provided a detailed introduction of AMA, including its company profile, development history, and future business plans to Secretary Bi and Deputy Secretary Zheng. He emphasized the talent development mechanisms, job demands, and the main activities carried out in campus recruitment. He expressed the hope for further strengthening the school-enterprise cooperation and promoting integration of industry and education with Chuzhou University. He also welcomed outstanding graduates to intern or work at the company, encouraging them to combine their theoretical knowledge with practical work, enhance their professional knowledge, skills, and practical abilities. AMA would continue to strive forward and provide more high-quality positions for university graduates.
Subsequently, Secretary Bi and Deputy Secretary Zheng, and their delegation visited the production line at AMA, including the stamping and etching workshops. They inquired about the product processes, applications, and the talent requirements for production and operations. During the research, Secretary Bi and Deputy Secretary Zheng expressed gratitude to the Management Committee of the Suzhou-Chuzhou Sino-Singapore Chuzhou Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone and AMA for their support to the development of Chuzhou University. As a local undergraduate institution in Chuzhou, in recent years, the university has gradually increased the cultivation of students in closely related majors such as mechanical and electrical engineering, materials and chemistry, computer science, and management, in response to the rapid economic development of Chuzhou. They also stated that in the future, they would further strengthen precise docking services based on industry needs, deepen school-enterprise cooperation through connecting the school with industries and the majors with enterprises, and promote collaborative education to drive the integrated development of education and industry. They aimed to achieve a consensus on nurturing talents and promote the integration of industry and education.
Both the university and the enterprise expressed their hope for future cooperation in various forms, promoting comprehensive technical collaboration between the company and the university, and achieving mutual promotion and common development of professions and industries. They will strive to realize "integration of school and enterprise, mutual benefit of production and education," and contribute to employment and the development of the semiconductor industry.
